2005-2006 Winter/Spring Season News and Views
Registration forms, USFA numbers & spelling of names
During the course of the season, the Division processes over 300 registration
forms and scores of competition results. And every year the USFA national
office rejects or delays qualifier entries and rating changes, because of
misspelled or illegible names. For your paperwork and result to be processed
in a timely manner, when filling in various forms, PLEASE:
- Print legibly
- Spell your name exactly as it appears on your USFA card
- Provide your USFA membership number (it's on the upper right hand corner
of your USFA card)
2006 Mid-Atlantic Section Senior Championships
The 2006 Mid-Atlantic Section Senior Championships will be hosted by
Philadelphia Division at Swarthmore College Fieldhouse, on May 6 & 7.
The Sectional Championships are “open” events for all
senior competitive members of the USFA, who belong to the constituent
Divisions of the Mid-Atlantic Section. Fencers from the following
Divisions are eligible to fence in the Mid-Atlantic Section
Championships: PHILADELPHIA, HARRISBURG, CENTRAL-PA, WESTERN-PA,
NORTHEAST-PA, NEW JERSEY, SOUTH JERSEY, MARYLAND, and CAPITOL (DC)
Divisions.
Pre-registration is required to fence in the Sectional Championships.
Registration & late fee policies will be strictly enforced!
Registration forms for the Mid-Atlantic Senior Section Championships
will be mailed to all Division clubs and posted on the Division website
in mid-February. The event will also be posted on www.askfred.net.
