COMPETITION RULES AND REQUIREMENTS


  • You must be a current USFA member and show proof of membership. If you have no proof of membership, you must join the USFA at the tournament.
     
  • Proper fencing attire is required for all events. Fencers must wear regulation uniform, mask and glove in good condition.
     
  • All events, unless otherwise specified, are OPEN-MIXED events.
     
  • All events are fenced ELECTRICALLY except Novice or otherwise specified.
     
  • The schedule lists the TIME for CLOSING of CHECK-IN .
     
  • Medals will be awarded for events with (6) or more entrants.
     
  • The entry fee for non-qualifying events is $20 for first event, $15 for second event, entered on the same day. The entry fee for Youth and Novice (dry) events is $30 for the first event and $25 for the second event entered on the same day, with a $10 discount for pre-registration.
     
  • Pre-Registration for Youth and Novice (dry) events: Fencers must pre-register at least one (1) week prior to the event with the site host/club, by phone or email. The entry fee for these events is $30 at the door, however for pre-registered fencers there will be a $10 discount. Non pre-registered fencers will not be turned down at the door, however full ($30) entry fee will be charged.
     
  • Pre-Registration for National Qualifiers: Fencers must pre-register with the Division by the entry deadline (See the Registration Form). For entries received after the entry deadline, LATE FEES (double the registration + event fees) will be charged! Please fill the form legibly and provide USFA number on the form.
     
  • Training events: Get ready for the Summer Nationals. Three hours of intense, round-robin fencing. These events are not USFA sanctioned competitions, but club sponsored training sessions, open to all fencers, even if you are not going to the Nationals. Come, fence hard, break a sweat, have fun.
